Mr Olly Donaldson is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon with a specialist interest in shoulder and elbow surgery. He has been an NHS consultant based at Yeovil District Hospital since 2014, and practices privately at Nuffield hospital, Taunton and the Kingston Wing, Yeovil.
Olly qualified from the University of Bristol in 2002 and underwent his orthopaedic training in Wales. He completed fellowship training in all aspects of shoulder and elbow surgery at the Liverpool Shoulder Unit. He has an active interest in teaching and research, and is a lead author of the BESS/BOA national guidelines on the management of traumatic shoulder instability (https://www.boa.ac.uk/wp-content/uploads/2016/11/Traumatic-Anterior-Instability.pdf). Olly remains an active member of BESS and he is the co-Chair of the South West and Wales Shoulder and Elbow Group.
