If something goes wrong or you sense a patient or their family are critical of your care, call the OTSIS medico-legal advisory team to discuss the problem. We can act as a sounding board, provide advice, review the response to complaints, help you to prepare statements, represent you at investigations and disciplinary processes. We will also ensure the underwriters are notified and specialist solicitors are appointed to look after your professional interests.
Whatever the problem, there is a single point of contact for all OTSIS members. Advice and assistance are available for routine matters from 08.30 – 18.00 with a 24-hour telephone advisory service for emergencies.
